Order of Events

On May 20, 2006, the SCRA Water Ski Club, in celebration of its 50th Anniversary, will host a fundraiser to benefit the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
This bike "event" will include:
  • 40 mile road ride
  • Relaxed 10-mile road ride through rolling hills and lakeside roads
  • Mountain bike two-round time trial
  • Kids' events
Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join any event and ride at their own pace. Families are encouraged to come and support their riders. There will be raffles, music, kids' activities, tricycle races, face painting and more. Free babysitting will be provided during the rides.
There will also be free bike tuning and safety checks on site.
After the ride, relax and join us for a Steamship Round lunch served by Team Millburg.
Enjoy the whole day for a minimum donation of $35.00 per rider or $75.00 per family, with 100% of the donations going directly to fund PKD research. Prizes will be awarded for riders who raise the most donations. Lunch and T-shirts are included with your registration.
Participation is limited to the first 200 riders to register.
For more information call Rob O'Brien at 508-865-1073 or email dwhite@rhwhite.com.
About PKD
Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is the most common genetic, life threatening disease affecting more than 600,000 Americans and an estimated 12.5 million people worldwide - regardless of sex, age, race, or ethnic origin. In fact, PKD affects more people than cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, hemophilia, Down syndrome, and sickle cell anemia - combined. The PKD Foundation is the only organization worldwide dedicated to finding treatment and a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease. The PKD Foundation funds millions of dollars of peer-approved research annually.
